Dr. Tim Wright graduated from the University of Houston, College of Optometry with highest honors. At Graduation, the faculty voted him the Most Outstanding Clinician. He is now an adjunct professor at the University, and is an active faculty member, teaching medical students throughout the year. He has been voted the most outstanding clinician by the citizens of Collin County, where he owns and practices at Plano Eye Associates-East. Dr. Wright has been in practice for 10 years and focuses his care on Optometry, General Ophthalmology, and Cosmetic Facial Rejuvenation.
Dr. Wright has received his artistic skills and excellence in aesthetic medicine, during his post-graduate educational training through the University of Texas-SouthWestern and the University of British Columbia. As well, Dr. Wright has had the unique experience to receive additional education under the direction of internationally renowned physicians, Dr Jean & Alistair Carruthers, at their annual conference for advanced aesthetics in facial contouring.
Prior to his career in Medicine, Dr. Wright graduated from The University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. While there, he was invited into membership in both Honor Societies for engineering. Upon graduation, he was invited to perform Top Secret Research & Development for the U.S. Navy while working at General Dynamics in Fort Worth, Texas for six years.
To stay current in the field of ocular and cosmetic medicine, he attends hundreds of hours of workshops, symposiums and meetings so patients can benefit from the newest techniques. Dr. Wright is an active member of the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine, the International Society of Cosmetic Laser Surgeons, and the American Academy of Laser Medicine and Surgery. His experience extends into the field of Facial Contouring with Botox Cosmetic and Facial Fillers, and Facial Laser Rejuvenation. |
